The Evolution has begun – No need for Revolution.

DIAZ is a Liverpool player. We almost got over the line with Carvalho but there’s still hope with him, if we want him we will get him. Virg is prime example.

Is this the start of the Evolution? Or has it already begun? One might ask…

Konate was bought in the summer – so the 2-3 players a season that I have been asking for is not something that’s gonaa start in the Summer of 2022…..It has already begun…..

This all started in the summer of 2020 when we brought in Thiago, Jota and Tsimi (3 signings) so upto now that’s 5 in 2 seasons….

In 2019  the wheels at the academy started grinding out as well as inheriting talent from elsewhere. Harvey arrived and went on loan to Blackburn, Jones was starting to show us what he was capable of and so was Kelleher and Neco. (That’s 4 there coming through the academy)

This season Morton, Becks, Bradly and especially Gordon are showing us why they are the future. There’s still Mateus too and Pitaluga arrived..

SOLD players-

 We’ve sold Wilson and Shaq and Gini’s gone. So have Lallana, Studge, Moreno and Lovren.

Nat and Neco have gone on loan. ( That’s 100k of saved wages to pay for the incoming Diaz who was unexpected this transfer window) also Joe ‘s been told be prepared to play RB.

 I hope that with Neco it’s to get game time but it could mean that we’re in the market for a RB and rightly but I feel We need a Tsimiesque signing there.

OUTGOINGS-

 In the summer-Karius is definitely going and Nat looks likely too.

It’s time Millie also decides his future and makes way . He can stay in a coaching role by all means.

That leaves Origi, Mino, Ox, NabyLad as the next on that list unless they prove themselves and are able to stay injury free. I also add Thiago to that list. I believe by 2024 several of them would have left.

THE TWIST of the plot comes with JOE GOMEZ. Does he really want to play the 4th CB role???

Then what’s with the front 3 of Mo,Mane and Bobby?

Several scenarios but for me these are the probable 2.

  1. Mo signs a long term contract . That means Mane and/Or Bobby make way in the coming season or 2
  2. We don’t offer Mo the contract so Bobby and Mane stay.

Up the reds. Lets win more trophies and rule Ingerland and Europe.
