The 25- Part 3- The Best Squad of players in the world

The Attack- The Sensational 7- I mean who can boast a set of 7 players who are goal scorers, pressers up the pitch and play with such distinct styles and yet deliver consistently even when not playing that often.

1. Mo Salah- Our Egyptian King. The best player on the planet at the moment. Has the most Goals as well as Assists in the PL. Quite remarkable?  On a 200K a week contract and wants more. How much more? Will he stay or will he go?
2. Sadio Mane- The Senegalese King . Winner of Afcon, taken his country to the WC. Currently playing mostly as a false 9. What can’t he do? Jota and now Diaz’s arrival has only made him better. Did he need competition ? Klopp says no but competition has taken him levels higher. The lad deserves his wages upped from 100K big time. 200-250K?
3. Bob the builder. Our Brazilian with those sparkling teeth. Uncharacteristically injured or out of action quite a bit this season but whenever he’s played he’s delivered.  The connector. Has the arrival of Jota and now Mane as a false 9 made it tough for him?
4. Diogo Jota. Jota player. Diogoal. Just when we needed more firepower this lad has stood up and delivered. Can play across the front 3 as Mane which makes him an invaluable asset. He may not do Bobby things as a 9 but he sure as hell knows where the goal is.
5. Taki Minamino….9 goals and generally just plays in cup games. Always motivated. I watch him closely in the training videos. Wow. Trains at at exceptionally high levels. Great lad to have whenever the big guns need a rest.
6. Luiz Fernano Diaz. I keep saying this often. There must be a reason why we got his a transfer window early. He has transformed our fire power. He’s a bomb waiting to explote. Blistering pace, can stop in and instant and rinse and repeat. Scores goals, assists, defends, is a street fighter. Unbelievable talent.
7. Saved Our Legend for last. The one and only Cult Hero- Divock Okoth Origi.

Football is nothing without Origi.

I will be in tears when he leaves. There’s talk he’ll leave this summer. I don’t wanna see him go as he just scores such important, magical goals in the most appropriate of times. Our Plan, B,C,D….Where should we build that statue? Next to Goodison as he OWNS Everton.

We have the Best 25 in world football and we have a few more too to that group. Some on this list of 25  and some who aren’t will leave this summer. We will Evolve because we have to not because we need to. The Quad is still on.  Part 3 of it awaits…..
