Wolves vs Liverpool (EPL – Jan 23/20)

This could well rival the City game as our toughest away fixture between now and the end of the season and the much anticipated “open top” tour on a bus that surely awaits our conquering heroes. Extra points for identifying the year and players, without cheating 😉

They are called Wolverhampton Wanderers and their form has wandered about a bit too. They are clearly a very well balanced team though as their home and away records are virtually identical . AWAY: won four, drawn five and lost three. HOME: won four, drawn five and lost two. I am confident that Liverpool can give them the home defeat they need to ensure they maintain their yin and their yang. Their record is good but not exceptional, they play attractive uncompromising football but they have scored only marginally more goals (34) than they have conceded (30). Liverpool will go there and win because they are hungry like the…….. err Liver bird.

The Team: Difficult this I am assuming Klopp starts with Ox again and brings on Fab later to continue to ease him back in though he might do it the other way round. Alisson, TAA, Gomez, Van Duck, Robbo, Hendo , Gini, Ox, Mane, Firmino, Scallop.
