Well I just hope we don’t have to wait quite so long for the next one 😉

I never thought I would see another Liverpool team as exciting as the one I watched in the 70s or a team with so much quality and as crushingly dominant as the team in the 80s. It is fitting then that in the very last game against Palace they showed that we have a team that can equal and possibly even surpass both those teams I grew up with. This team is guaranteed a place in Liverpool history of that there is no doubt. However, If they are to be regarded as the greatest Liverpool team ever they will need to maintain that dominance over a long period. That is the challenge Shankly and Paisley set their teams and the one I am sure Klopp will set for his team. But today is about celebrating wonderful owners, a wonderful manager, wonderful team and a truly wonderful achievement in getting back on our perch…. oh alright wonderful fans too 😉

It has been a tough year (or so) but It was heartening to see many of the old posters coming back to both sites to celebrate the wonderful and long overdue achievement. I hope as many posters as possible will be able to continue to contribute and move between the sites. After all we don’t have to chat to everyone and we have one thing in common which unites us all, Liverpool FC. This Title is surely one for the fans of Liverpool the World over (past and present) YNWA.
