The Grand Final
This weekend will see the final of the greatest competition in the World. It seems ages ago now that the teams from all four corners of the globe came together to compete for a trophy that everyone dreams of holding aloft. There has been the usual poor decisions, tears and tantrums, play acting and down right cheating but that all gets forgotten now as we prepare to crown the champions. Who will it be? Well I know who I will be supporting. Come on Hamza.
(For those who don’t know, or who are pretending not to know, tonight sees the final of strictly come dancing. This is an annual BBC ballroom dancing competition where professional dancers team up with celebrities to compete for the glitter ball trophy. Red will be taking a particular interest in tonight’s final as in his (much) younger days he was a junior English Latin American ballroom finalist. Women still come up to him in the street and ask to see his Paso doble…)
