This team is something else. Truly something else. Thiago, take a bow! I often call him a magician because of what he does on the pitch. But now he’s not just producing magic, he’s bending space and time entirely with that shot! I’ve never seen someone strike a ball and have it steadily creep up and increase its speed after hitting the ground. Amazing. Mo Salah, the Egyptian King, 17 goals in 17 games to start the season. Unreal. The list goes on: Alisson, Virgil, Henderson, Fabinho, Robertson, Mane, Trent, Matip, Jota, all world-class components of the best starting eleven in the world. But wait, I’m not done yet. Firmino slots in the team once he’s back from injury. Ox is finally looking good again after a run of form in the team. Kostas filling in well as Robertson’s deputy. Keita with his moments, such as the United game or his stunners against Atletico and Palace. Big Nat Phillips, Minamino and Origi thriving in the cup games. And then you have the youth movement: Kelleher, Konate, Gomez, Neco, Jones, Morton, Elliott, Gordon, Bradley, Beck, and more. All either establishing themselves already as young world-class superstars or being well on their way to success. Soak it all in, friends. The golden age is truly here again.
