We go into this game hot on the heels of the news that a couple of peoplehas been a couple of bids for Man Utd, Radcliffe and the Qatari’s, How long will it be before Nations will be fighting their battles on the football field? Sadly, this particular take over will mark the end of football as we know it. In future, we will only have distant tales of what a football club was really all about and Hollywood versions of famous games and seasons gone by. Happy days, RIP football.
Anyway, for now it’s Newcastle and yet another game where the result doesn’t really matter and the team can just put its best foot forward and enjoy the game (more of that reverse psychology)
