Mighties 2-1 Seagulls.

My ananathingy of the match.

Another hard win for the lads yesterday. Did we make it difficult for ourselves? Don’t we always.

The pressure cooker is on, for us, CHEATS and the ARSE. Thankfully we sorted ourselves out n won the bloody game.

Now to the players.

Kelleher isn’t a back up goalie by any stretch but I’m glad we have him because I can’t see much of a difference between him and Ali, apart from age, obviously. Do we let him go in the summer or has he already been told he’s the future, perhaps in two or three years?

Conor looked a bit out of sorts yesterday, perhaps the pressure is getting to him where he might need a lil break. Overall though a good performance.

Quansah made a couple of errors which could have cost us. One of his errors he got himself out of with the skill set he has.

Big Virg was again immense. What can one say about him? He’s regained his form this season and looks like he’s over the assault by small arms. Giving him the armband looks like a masterstroke even if we all knew it was inevitable.

Joe has continued his new lease of life, he plays all over the backline these days n I’ll tell ya what, he’s got so much strength too. He had a fantastic match.

Szobo is a bit of a concern recently but hey, he did begin here like a man possessed. He’ll find his niche again.

Endo is just Endo. It took him about 5 minutes to get up to speed when he arrived here, but fook me twice on Sunday’s isn’t he a proper gem and another cult hero. He seriously doesn’t give a shit how big the opposition are, he’ll go through them anyway, with finesse, obviously.

Onto the player that has broken free from his shackles, Macca. Geez isn’t he a player or what? Now that he’s free from the 6 role he’s certainly showing us just how good he is as an 8. Faultless performance and my McMOTM. He’s an absolute diamond.

Salah was wasteful , greedy but scored the winner, ya can’t complain too much about that.

Diaz got us level with a brilliant bit of expectation, he believed the ball would land where it did….and it did. Thankfully he slotted it home thanks to a brilliant assist from the Brighton defender.

Darwin was Darwin, not too great, not to bad either. He certainly causes chaos for the opposition and probably his teammates too. But hey, ya gotta love his tenacity.

Last word,

Overall it was a must win match, as they all are here on in. We did what we needed to do and came away with maximum points on offer. The ARSE loved our draw against CHEATS, but I feel we are loving their draw more.

There is still some hills to climb before we reach the summit of the mountain but we’re in a very good place to reach the summit first. It’s in our hands so let’s do it.

Who are we?

WE ARE LIVERPOOL AND FOOK THE REST!
