Liverpool vs Sheffield United

Right it’s nearly time for us to put Sheffield United to the sword (see what I did there?). Yes they are known as the blades because Sheffield was one time the steel centre of the World. Their mascot is Captain blade who as you can see is halfway towards becoming a fully qualified VAR referee. (Let it go Stu, just let it go!)

Sheffield United have struggled at the start of this season and have had a few injuries of their own but their matches have been close. They don’t score many goals but they don’t concede many either and no doubt they will be trying to put our defence under pressure at every opportunity. I will wish Brewster all the best …… but not until the next match.

Klopp has suggested that both Alisson and Matip could be fit to play on Saturday and I think he should go for the full Monty and select the best team he can so they have a chance to build confidence ahead of what could be a crunch game coming up shortly against City.

Team: Alisson, TAA, Matip, Gomez, Robbo, Fab, Hendo, Alcantara, Mane, Firmino, Salah. This is still an exceptionally strong side. I am also hoping we might also see Williams, Jones, Jota, Mini and possibly even Shawiri given some minutes in the second half.
