Team selection is the big question. This game will likely come too soon for Thiago who just returned to full training this week, as well as Endo who has just arrived and that alongside the news Curtis has picked up an ankle injury may well see Klopp persist with Gakpo in midfield but who knows. I thought Elliot provided a real burst of energy into our midfield when he came on against Chelsea so he may be in line for his first start of the season. Alternatively we could play Trent in midfield and Gomez or Bradley at RB but I’ve long since given up on trying to second guess Klopp’s team selections. All that matters is the three points.
