Liverpool v BHA
Next up it’s Brighton and Hove Albion. I know what you’re thinking he’s going to make that joke again about playing both of them. Well, sorry to disappoint you, I wouldn’t stoop that low……….well not for a fifth time running. Anyway, for a change, the game will be at 3 pm on Saturday at Anfield. I know, what a daft time for a football match. Don’t worry It’ll never catch on though.
The game provides another chance to catch up with and marvel, once again, at the silky skills of Adam Lallana (injury permitting 🙂 ). In his pre match presser Klopp was extremely complimentary about his skills and game intelligence and said he was looking forward to catching up with him. That is how it should be too. People might question his injury record and his lack of goals and assists but he was a key part of Klopp’s team and a good servant of LFC. Ok he also has a penchant for strangling young boys but no one’s perfect and I am sure he will still get a warm welcome from all at Anfield.
I understand that Thiago and Fab won’t be ready for the game against BHA so we are a little light in midfield with Ox as the main backup. I think the team largely picks itself with only perhaps Jota coming in for either Firmino or Mane and/or Konate in place of Matip.
