Engerlund v Some Bloody Foreigners

I normally put up the pre match press conference before games, but of course being England, this one was in German and I couldn’t be bothered with the subtitles. Anyway, in short the lads are “as sick as a Papagei” for those that have missed out due to injury and “are over the mond” to be representing their Country and will be trying their very best to make England (and Germany) proud of them.

I don’t sense the same Nationalistic pride or expectation across the Nation though this time around and though there are plenty of England flags on display round my way, rather ominously they all seem to be flying at half mast. It should be noted also that over half the players are what is known as BAME, so the worry is whether the team will be speaking the same language and able to integrate.
