Brighton and Hove Albion vs Liverpool

Now that we are coming out of the second lock down, it’s time for Liverpool to follow the lead of the rest of the Country and head towards the seaside. Though liverpool at least have a reasonable excuse that they are going to play a couple of games of football one against Brighton and the other against Hove Albion:-) That is my favourite (only) BHA joke I use every time we play Brighton and I would hate to disappoint regular posters by not using it again.

Brighton has had some mixed results lately with a few too many draws thrown in but they beat Villa last time out and have played well with results not always reflecting their play. Their youngster Lamptey has caught the eye too but fortunately he is suspended for this game. This game does though give the Liverpool players (and especially the medical staff) the chance to catch up with Adam Lallana. Unfortunately, and in a surprising twist he took a knock last time out and may not play……

Despite all our injuries we are still able to put out an impressive team and that team will hopefully be strengthened by the return of our Captain fantastic. Team: Alisson, Milner. Fab. Matip. Robbo, Hendo, Gini, Jota, Mane, Firmino, Salah. It would be really helpful though to get TAA, Thiago Ox and even Keita back to allow a bit of rotation in midfield. I would also like to see Tsimikas given some more game time in a full strength side. He was coming back from an injury lay off in midweek and would benefit from some more game time just as much as Robbo would benefit from a rest.
