I don’t want to pre-empt any article from Alan but I will just say that Slot hasn’t suddenly become a bad manager and some of the criticism is nonsense. I am far from being a fan boy and have issues with some aspects of his man management style but he did ok with it last year when he faced a very difficult challenge taking over from a Saint and a legend. Equally, all of our players including the new ones haven’t suddenly become bad players either. They are having trouble integrating and haven’t been helped by injuries but the quality remains. I don’t agree with the let’s buy more players argument either at this moment. The difficulty is integrating new players so adding more players is unlikely to help in the short term. YNWA.
